Volkswagen has always been known for giving its cars a simple, practical yet premium look and the 2026 Vertis facelift proves it. You will get to see a completely new design in its front profile. The new front grille has been widened with chrome detailing. The Volkswagen Virtus is known for its driving dynamics and powerful engines and the facelift version is no exception. It offers two engine options:

The first is the 1.0 liter T-Ci turbo petrol engine that delivers around 115 bhp of power and 177 Nm of torque. This engine is absolutely perfect for daily driving and city traffic as it is smooth and fuel efficient.

The second engine is a 1.5 liter T-Ci Turbo Petrol that produces 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The specialty of this engine is its single cylinder technology which not only gives powerful performance but also maintains better mileage. it has 6 speed manual, 6 speed torque converter automatic and 7 speed DJG gear box. Especially the DJG gear box makes driving very fun and responsive. Talking about acceleration, the Verts facelift with 1.5 T-psi engine accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds. At the same time, the 1.0 T-Ci engine takes about 10.5 seconds to reach this speed. As far as mileage is concerned, the 1.0 T-psi engine returns around 18-19 kmpl and the 1.5 T-psi engine around 16-17 kmpl. Talking about the driving experience, the 2026 Virtus facelift offers the best driving dynamics in its segment. Its steering is very responsive and very stable on the highway. The suspension has been further tuned so that the car feels quite comfortable even on bad roads. Braking performance is also strong as it has disc brakes on all wheels.


The cabin of the Virtus facelift is now more luxurious and tech-friendly than before. It uses soft touch materials on the dashboard and the new dual tone theme gives it a premium look. The biggest upgrade is its new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, it has been given a new ambient lighting system which makes the cabin atmosphere very beautiful at night. The seats have been designed with better cushioning and now the front seats are ventilated. The leg room and head room on the rear seat is also excellent making it comfortable for long journeys.

Apart from this, Volkswagen has also given it an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADS) which includes features like Lane Key Persistence, Automatic Emergency Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control. Volkswagen has always been reliable in terms of safety and the Virtus facelift also gets 6 airbags, ABS, ABD, hill hold assist, traction control and strong body structure. Volkswagen's cars are also the first to achieve the best score in the Global NC AP test.
