Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur is facing tough competition at
the box office as De De Pyaar De 2, Haq and The Taj Story continue to earn
money, while Masti 4 has also arrived in theaters to compete with Farhan
Akhtar's war drama. But still, amidst the storm of already running films, the film
is trying to gain good momentum at the box office.
Bollywood's last Sainik film of 2025 was also produced by
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Productions. Emraan Hashmi starrer,
Ground Zero also recorded an initial occupancy of 4.7% in theaters during the
morning shows. The real test of the film will be the weekend figures, when the
film picks up pace.
120 Bahadur recorded an occupancy of around 4.5% on its
opening day. By 5 pm the film was successful in earning around Rs 77 lakh at
the box office. The box office figures may increase by evening and night shows.
Directed by Rajneesh Razi Ghai, the film's official synopsis
reads, "Brave Indian soldiers fight against Chinese troops during the 1962
India-China War, and prevent the possible capture of the Ladakh region at the
Battle of Rezang La." It also stars Vivaan Bhatena, Ejaz Khan, Ajinkya
Dev, Sparsh Walia, Sahib Verma, Ankit Siwach and others.

After pre-sales of around 11K on BookMyShow, 120 Bahadur has
recorded ticket sales of 13.2K on the first day from 9am to 5pm on BMS. Due to
the momentum of the film this number may touch 22K+ sales on the first day.

The two-minute teaser of Farhan Akhtar's film 120 Bahadur
shows the Army in the harsh terrain of eastern Ladakh, where temperatures
reached above zero. In 1962, during the Sino-Indian War, hundreds of real-life
Indian soldiers faced this harsh scenario, surrounded by hostile opponents who
dominated them in terms of numbers. Amidst this war, the Battle of Rezang La
has established itself in the heroic history of India, in which 120 fearless
soldiers were defending the mountain pass located in the sub-zero zone of
eastern Ladakh.
These 120 brave men belonged to the 13th Kumaon Regiment,
consisting mostly of Ahir soldiers from Haryana. A strategic and important
point in the military geography of India, this mountain pass was defended by
120 soldiers against a force of 3000 Chinese soldiers. Even if Indian soldiers
